Welcome to Pat Sharpe Photography. By accessing or using this website (www.patsharpephotography.com) or booking photography services through me (Pat Sharpe), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Information

This website is owned and operated by Pat Sharpe, a freelance photographer based in Finland. All services and products are offered subject to availability, scheduling, and mutual agreement.

2. Bookings & Consultations

All photography sessions must be arranged in advance via email, phone, or through the Contact page.
Dates are secured on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable deposit may be required for weddings and events.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and informing me of any special requirements ahead of time.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact me as early as possible. I aim to be flexible and understanding.
For weddings and large events, cancellations made less than 30 days before the scheduled date may forfeit the deposit.
In the unlikely event I need to cancel (due to illness or emergency), I will provide a full refund or help find a suitable replacement photographer where possible.

4. Payment Terms

Payment details will be clearly communicated before each session.
For weddings and events, a deposit may be required to confirm the booking, with the balance due on or before the shoot date.
For portraits and smaller shoots, payment is typically due on the day of the session.
Payments for print orders must be made in full before dispatch.

5. Delivery of Images

Edited digital images are typically delivered via online gallery or direct email within an agreed timeframe.
Turnaround time will vary depending on the type of session, but I aim to deliver most galleries within 2–4 weeks.
You will be notified once your gallery is ready.

6. Copyright & Image Use

I retain the copyright to all photographs taken, as per standard copyright law.
Clients receive a personal licence to use the images for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g. printing, sharing with family and friends, posting on social media).
Images may not be sold, edited beyond basic cropping or filters, or used commercially without written permission.
I reserve the right to use selected images in my portfolio, website, or social media — unless you request otherwise in writing before the session.

7. Print Sales

Prints are produced through professional print labs to ensure high quality and colour accuracy.
Sizes, finishes, and prices are clearly listed on the website.
Please double-check sizing and shipping details before placing an order.
If your print arrives damaged or incorrect, contact me within 7 days for a replacement or refund.

8. Website Content & Use

All content on this website — including text, images, layout, and design — is the property of Pat Sharpe Photography and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
You may view and share pages for personal use, but must not use the content commercially or claim it as your own.

9. Limitation of Liability

I take every care in my work, but shall not be liable for unforeseeable events or circumstances beyond my control (e.g. equipment failure, weather conditions, or venue restrictions).
My liability is limited to the amount paid for the photography services.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
