This Privacy Policy explains how Pat Sharpe Photography (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit www.patsharpephotography.com (the “Site”) or contact us to arrange a booking or purchase prints. We operate from Finland and follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. How do we collect your data?

Contact form / email link on the Site (which sends your message to our email inbox).
Direct email or telephone communication initiated by you.
At present we do not run an online booking engine; all enquiries are handled manually.

4. Cookies & analytics

The Site is hosted on Wix. Wix places essential cookies that allow the website to function and, where enabled, may set basic analytics cookies to count visits anonymously. We do not use marketing pixels or third‑party advertising cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

5. How do we use your data?

To reply to enquiries, discuss your requirements, and confirm bookings.
To arrange shoot logistics (time, date, location).
To send invoices, contracts, or print‑order confirmations.
We do not send marketing newsletters, nor do we use your data for automated decision‑making or profiling.

6. Where is your data stored and how is it secured?

All correspondence is stored in our Outlook (Hotmail) email account, which is protected by strong passwords and two‑factor authentication. Print‑order addresses may be stored in the same inbox. No data is kept on public computers, and portable devices are password‑protected.

7. How long do we keep your data?

We keep booking‑related emails and invoices for up to five (5) years to comply with accounting obligations and to assist returning clients. After that, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Do we share your data?

No. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, and we do not transfer it outside the EU/EEA. (Note: Microsoft may process email data on servers within the EEA.)

9. Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

Access – obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification – ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure – request deletion of your data (unless we must keep it for legal reasons).
Restriction – limit how we process your data.
Object – object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Data portability – request your data in a structured, machine‑readable format.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi) or your local supervisory authority.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will notify you via the Site or by email.
